Ullapool

Ullapool is Situated on the northern side of Loch Broom in Wester Ross. It was founded in 1788 as a fishing station for the British Fisheries Society and was once the main herring port on the west coast. The town now acts as the ferry port for Stornoway on Lewis in the Outer Hebrides.
