Stirling & Central ScotlandThe central area of Scotland includes Stirling at its heart; like the larger cities of Edinburgh and Glasgow, the area around Stirling incorporates many small villages within its boundaries. The River Forth flows through the centre of Stirling and, as the river continues its way east, the areas of Falkirk and Clackmannanshire can be found to the north and south respectively. The Trossachs area lies to the west and one of the main attractions in the area is Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. |
