Morar is an area in the Lochaber district of the south-west Highlands and also the name of one of the villages in the area. Morar is further split into North and South Morar, with the former lying between Loch Morar and Loch Nevis and the latter between Loch Morar and Lochs nan Uamh and Beroiad. Arisaig is the name of the peninsula in the south-west corner of the Morar area as well as the name of the village in that corner of Morar. The largest village in the area is Mallaig in the north-west corner.
