Mallaig

Mallaig marks the end of the Road to the Isles from Fort William and is also marks the end of the West Highland Railway. The development of the town is mainly due to the arrival of the road and rail links.

It is the ferry terminal for Skye and the Small Isles and also to Inverie in Knoydart and then onto Tarbet in North Morar. It is also a busy fishing port and can be a hive of activity when the trawlers are in the harbour.
