Glen Spean

About ten miles north of Fort William is the village of Spean Bridge, at the junction of the A82 and A86; the latter road heads east through Glen Spean. A short distance along the A86 a small road heads north into Glen Roy. The area from Fort William through Glen Spean and Glen Roy is known as Brae Lochaber.

The A86 continues west to Kingussie where it joins the A9, the road that passes through the eastern Highlands.
