Corrour

Corrour is situated on the West Highland Railway, to the north of Rannoch Moor, and is the remotest station in Britain. As well as being the only one inaccessible by public road it is also, at 410m/1347 ft, the highest. The station has been unmanned since 1987.

Nearby Corrour Old Lodge was at one time the highest inhabited residence in Britain - situated at 523m/1723 ft on Carn Dearg.
