This wonderful little distillery is a great stop if you are travelling around in the area of Pitlochry! It is the SMALLEST distillery in Scotland, but still offers a FANTASTIC guided tour followed by the best part - the tasting!

Very close to Blair Castle!

Is it classified as Highland rather than Speyside?

Edradour is classed as a Highland distillery!

I'll attest to this being a wonderful little distillery. I just picked up a bottle of Ballechin - #3 the port Casks.

This heavily peated malt is going through a few maturations. I stumbled across this bottle at my local shop and started doing a little reading on it after I sampled a dram at home. It looks like #4 is out there. I look forward to trying that.

I haven't had a peatier whisky outside of Islay and this could give some of those a run for their money.

Frankly, I like supporting a small, independent distillery, let alone the smallest distillery. With this product, they have earned my support and deserve all the support they achieve.
