Its time to start voting for December's Photo of the Month... which isn't proving to be easy even with 2 votes!

By the way, make sure you use both votes at the same time as, if you don't, you'll lose one!

Unfortunately there isn't a larger image available for Aussie Lass's pic :( but hopefully you get the idea that winter Down Under is a bit different to what most of us are used to... hence the reason, when I was younger, I used to say I would stay in Scotland from April to September and Australia for the rest of the year! :whistling:

Anyway, Aussie Lass did send in another pic (after the deadline unfortunately) to give us an idea of what winter is like in Queensland... this is taken in a town called Tiaro:

Its hard to imagine it being 100 degrees on Christmas Day. We are more used to rain than sun.

I can't imagine having high temperatures on Christmas Day, I'm sure it's great if it's what you are used to but I like the variety of Scottish weather as long as you are healthy and dressed for the weather doesn't really matter what it throws at you. :)

It looks like being another close month again... but there's still plenty of time for voting to find the final winner of 2008 and the last entrant for the Photo of the Year 2008!

Its a shame you didn't get a pic in this month Neil, but at least you already have an entry in the Photo of the Year... and now you're back online you can start thinking what to send in for next month!

Anyway, I've noticed that some of you have only used on vote... seeing as its Christmas time I'll give you all the chance to get your second vote; so pm me and let me know what other photo you would have voted for and I'll sort it out for you! :D

Sure is Colin  , but there are some other nice photo's which deserve a point or two more. May be there will be a rush of votes at the last minute  .
Noticed someone only voted once, could they be holding that other point for me .

Just over three days to go and best of luck to all.

Its definitely too early to name a winner and there's still plenty of time for anyone to vote that hasn't yet... or for anyone who has only votes once to let me know what photo they would like to use their second vote on even if it is for jd (tho obviously I would prefer it if it was for me! :whistling:)

With just under 21 hours to go its now... neck and neck! Could this one go to a tie-break? :| Or will someone (and maybe not one of the joint leaders!) steal it at the last moment? 8) We'll just have to wait and see...

... but in the meantime, thanks to everyone who has taken part this month! :D

Well what can i say :) . It was neck and neck last night, but i think somebody must have been sober with that spare point appearing today (someone in my family perhaps  ).
It was always one of my favourite pics and has been said by many, they were all good and commiserations to Ken and thanks again members for your votes. To win three out of the eight I'm honoured.

Happy new year to you all.

Johnny
