Went on holiday for my 40th to New York in April.Times Square we met this mob from Kilbirnie,about 15 miles from me.
They were over for the tartan week and were part of a reenactment group (which i cant remember ).We caused a few Yanks to stop in their path and sneak into the photo.

The bloke on the left looks familiar... either I've seen him featured on another site or at one of the few re-enactments I've been to (probably the Bannockburn event of 2004 or 2005)!

Anyway, as you say, it is a small world and there are Scots (or people of Scottish descent) everywhere!
