Plockton on the West Coast of Scotland
We came across this after a visit to Skye and Kyle of Lochalsh, we followed the road to see *Just what is round these corners* and what a surprise Plockton, We couldn't believe our find, a beautiful Village, we could have been on one of the Greek islands, it was sunny and warm and Palm tree's, Our quick drive through end up with us stay 3 days and yes we would go back.
Reading up on it we found that it is on the North Atlantic Drift hence the lovely weather.
We talked to local people who told us to come back next year for Regatta Week end of July and into August, we hope to be able to go.
