I've added a new charity to the top of the forum:
Cash for Kids who's aim is to give
a helping hand for local children:
Quote:
'Cash for Kids' is the umbrella brand for Bauer Radio’s network of independently registered, local charities which operate across 20 local areas within the UK. Each local ‘Cash for Kids’ brand is established to channel the caring of the local community into the welfare of their own youngsters.
We deliver initiatives for sick and underprivileged children in our communities, to benefit local children and give the neediest a better and brighter future. With cash raised and donated locally, each charity guarantees that generous donations from listeners and the community will go to bring, hope, healing or happiness to a child in your local area.
With all of the above you have to admit its a charity worth supporting and the fact they
raised in excess of £7.3 million in 2010 shows they know how to raise money... so, who knows, they might get a few extra quid from visitors to the Scotland from the Roadside forum!
