... except X! There is a place in Scotland starting with the letter Z and its not Zetland (the old name for Shetland)... does anyone have any idea where? (Sorry Linda, I'll have to disallow you from answering this as I've already shown you where it is!)

Do we use the same procedure here as in the "guess where" section
& ask for clues or directions ?
Mainland or island ? 8)

You could ask for clues, but I'm not sure whether I will give you answers!

oh ok... I will tell you that it is somewhere on the mainland, but I'll leave it at that for now!

Tell you what Colin, if you can name places for the other 24 letters then you can have a point... however, to make it a bit trickier, you can't use Aberdeen, Bannockburn, Crieff, Dumbarton, Edinburgh, Falkirk, Glasgow, Hamilton, Iona, Jura, Kilmarnock, Linlithgow, Motherwell, Nairn, Orkney, Perth, Queensferry, Rothesay, Stirling, Turnberry, Ullapool, Vatersay, Wick or Yell!

It really was a good effort Colin... but as TH pointed out you did use one place you weren't supposed to! Having said that, Linda will probably still say you should get all the points so, with that in mind, you can have 4!
