Traprain Law

This flat topped hill is located in East Lothian, to the southeast of East Linton and Hailes Castle.

It is believed to have been the capital of the Votadini, who's leader, King Loth, gave his name to the Lothians. Loth's daughter, Thenew, was said to be the mother of St. Kentigern, also known as St. Mungo.
