Tantallon Castle

Tantallon Castle stands on a cliff overlooking the Firth of Forth and the Bass Rock, about 4 miles west of North Berwick.

The castle was built in the 14th century by the Earl of Angus.

It was destroyed in 1561 by General Monck.

The remains are now looked after by Historic Scotland.
