Kirkcaldy
The Lang Toun

Kirkcaldy, located on the northern side of the Firth of Forth, is the largest town in Fife.

Ravenscraig Castle, in Ravenscraig Park, overlooks the Firth of Forth to the east of the town.

To the east of Ravenscraig Park is the 1549 royal burgh of Dysart. This is referred to as Little Holland and is now part of Kirkcaldy itself. The Tolbooth dates from c.1570; this served as a powder magazine in the time of Oliver Cromwell.
