Hamilton

Hamilton was once known as Cadzow and the ruined castle of the same name stands nearby.

The Hamilton family lived in the Hunting Lodge built in 1732 by Scots architect William Adam. The building is the centre piece in the Chatelherault Park.

The park runs alongside Avon water with lovely walks past Cadzow Castle.
