SandaThe island of Sanda stands off the southern end of the Kintyre peninsula. On the islands are the remains of St. Ninian's chapel, two ancient crosses, a well and a lighthouse. In 1946, the 7000 ton Byron Darnton was wrecked off the island, but fortunately without loss of life. |
