Ingliston

Ingliston is located to the west of Edinburgh; it can be reached by following the A8 that runs from the city centre.

It is the location of the Royal Highland Centre, which belongs to the Royal Highland Agricultural Society of Scotland, which was founded in 1784, and is the venue for the annual Royal Highland Show, the largest farming event in Scotland.

Ingliston is also the location of Scotland's first purpose-built road racing circuit, which was opened in 1965 by Jim Clark.
